    DESCRIPTION OF ICONS USED Network signal strength – More bars means greater signal strength. The network signal strength is the strength of the connection between the mobile phone and the GSM network. More bars indicate a stronger signal. The icon with a number 1, indicates the signal strengh of the GSM network of SIM card one.

    DESCRIPTION OF KEYS Keys Function 1. Execute functions displayed by the left-bottom/right-bottom indicators. 2. In standby mode, press Left Soft key Left soft key/ Right to access Messages, Right Soft key to soft key access Contacts.

    GETTING STARTED Installing SIM Card and Battery Please be sure to disconnect the phone from the charger before removing or inserting the battery. This version is a dual-SIM, dual-standby phone which can support 2 SIM cards. Both SIM cards can be registered on the same or on different networks.

    The battery icon on screen will flash when the phone is being charged. A full battery icon will be displayed once the battery is completely charged. If the phone is off during charging, the charging animation will be displayed on screen. After the battery is charged, the screen will indicate display that charging has completed.
  • Page 12 PIN2: The PIN2 consists of 4 to 8 digits also. This PIN, provided along with the SIM card, sets functions such as call billing and fixed dialing. Please contact the network operator to verify whether your SIM card supports these functions. If you enter PIN2 incorrectly three consecutive times, your SIM card will be automatically locked.

    Memory Card (not included) This phone has an MP3 player function and supports T-flash cards also know as T Card or Micro SD memory cards. To insert the T-flash card in the slot you must first slide the metal cover with your finger and gently pull up the hinged metal flap.

    Input method: The phone supports various input modes, which make it easy for you to input English/Spanish letters, numbers and symbols. Dialing To make a call: When in standby mode, input the phone number (remember to affix the international/national/ regional code or district code if necessary) and then press [Send1/Send2].
  • Page 16 Answer Incoming Call To answer an incoming call: Press [Send1/Send2] to receive the incoming call. You can use the earphone to answer the call when the earphone (included) or Bluetooth earphone (optional) is attached properly to the phone. Dialed Calls/ Received Calls/Missed Calls/ Rejected Calls You can enter the call log to check the relevant details of dialed calls, missed calls, received calls and rejected calls.

    The storage capacity of the SIM card depends on the capacity of the SIM, which varies depending on the network provider. The maximum storage capacity of this phone is 100. File Management Your phone’s internal storage can be managed via this function. You can access or format the internal storage.

    Audio Player This phone can play MP3 files stored in the phone memory and it supports background playback. Video Player This phone supports 3GP and mp4 video formats. FM radio To listen to the built in FM radio, connect the earphones included. The earphones also act as the antenna.
  • Page 21 Inbox You can store the SMS messages you’ve received. The SMS messages are identified by different icons. The icons in front of the messages in the list indicate whether the message is a SMS message and the place where it is stored, in SIM1, SIM2 or the phone.

    Broadcast Message This function is available if your local operator supports this feature. Before using this service, please contact your operator to activate this service for you. SMS Settings There are seven options: SMS sign setting, SIM 1 msg center, SIM2 msg center, message validity period, status report, save sent messages, preferred storage medium.

    Torch In the standby mode you can turn the torch light on/off by pressing and holding the OK key. Bluetooth This mobile phone supports the Bluetooth wireless standard.
