Wiring instructions
Important - The mains cable in the appliance cannot be replaced. If it is damaged in any way the
appliance should be discarded.
The Electrim 75 is fitted with a 13 amp plug with a 3 amp fuse. If the plug has to be removed or
replaced please note the following.
The wire coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured BLACK.
The wire coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal marker L or coloured RED.
Neither wire should be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured GREEN & YELLOW.
GUARANTEE
The Electrim 75 immersion heater is guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. If the unit has
to be returned, proof of purchase must accompany it.
The glass tube is not covered by the guarantee. Therefore it is recommended that the tube is carefully
examined prior to use.
The guarantee is void if the immersion heater has been improperly used, mishandled or operated with
insufficient liquid. No consequential claims will be accepted.
The unit is factory sealed, any attempt to replace the glass tube or carry out repairs will invalidate the
guarantee.
• The Electrim 75 should never be switched on before it is immersed in liquid.
• The unit must never be removed from the liquid unless the power is switched off, and the unit
has been allowed to cool for 20 minutes.
• The unit should never be allowed to come into contact with plastic fermenting vessels whilst in
use.
