Charge-Discharge Cycles Temperature The battery used in the PTC-0110BA-2 is sealed and does not “dry up” or lose gasses, but its end of service life is brought about by the gradual corrosion of the electrodes. This process is accelerated by high operating temperatures. Every 10°C rise above 20°C will reduce the battery service life by half.
Replacing the Battery Pack For ease of use, the battery of the PTC-0110BA-2 is packaged within a Removable Battery Pack (P/N M357380) that may be ordered separately. During storage, the Battery Pack may be removed and stored separately in a cooled ambient.
PTC-0110BA2UM, REV(A) Communications and Remote Control Dry Contacts Interface Dry Contacts Interface is available through connector J3 ( a DB9 male connector located on the rear panel). This interface allows control and monitoring of the UPS by a server. Two configurations are available: Option 0 (Standard) and Option 1.
