B. The regular operation of the CRUSHER depends on correct use and maintenance. Therefore, the efficiency and duration of your equipment will be closely connected with these fundamental aspects. C. FIXED CRUSHER FP SERIES The identification data of the CRUSHER, pursuant to the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), are legibly and indelibly PROVIDED on a plate, shown below, affixed to the equipment. It is absolutely forbidden to remove it or change its contents.
FIXED CRUSHER FP SERIES 2.8 DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT The HAMMER CRUSHER of the FP series, mounted on the excavator arm, makes it possible to crush construction materials and shear any reinforcing rods present in the structures to be demolished. The HAMMER FP CRUSHER, designed for secondary demolition activities, is characterized by one only movement, i.e.

SAFETY 3.1 STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS In the design of the CRUSHER, the MANUFACTURER has taken on the task of achieving important objectives, first of all the pursuit of the maximum level of equipment, obtained through specific design solutions, consistently with the provisions of the Machinery Directive.
FIXED CRUSHER FP SERIES 3.2.3 BEHAVIOR TO BE ADOPTED IN THE EVENT OF ACCIDENTS Operators have to keep always ready for use, in case of need: • First aid kit; • Emergency telephone numbers. In the event of accidents, call for help and follow the specific emergency procedures, according to the indications and the methods envisaged by the rules on Safety at Work.
FIXED CRUSHER FP SERIES 3.4 PROHIBITIONS • DO NOT carry or lift people on the CRUSHER. • DO NOT carry out maneuvers at risk that may cause the CRUSHER or its contents to tip over. • DO NOT change the setting of the maximum pressure valves in the hydraulic circuits.

FIXED CRUSHER FP SERIES 4. USE OF THE CRUSHER 4.1 MOUNTING THE TOP BRACKET ON THE CRUSHER Carefully bring the top bracket close to the CRUSHER. Align the pin housing holes. Insert the pins in their respective seats and lock them with washers and nuts (observe the position of the safety blocks).

4.4 INITIAL AND PERIODIC CHECKS • At the time of the first connection of the CRUSHER (as well as of all HAMMER equipment), it is necessary to verify, by means of suitable flow meter and pressure gauge, that the capacity and working pressure exiting the excavator are those prescribed in the technical specifications for the specific CRUSHER model.
FIXED CRUSHER FP SERIES 4.6 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE • Most of the drawbacks and failures that may occur during the use of the CRUSHER is caused by the loosening of the fixing parts and by the presence of leaks that are not promptly eliminated.
