Flying Environment

Please fly in the spacious indoor, and make sure there is no obstacles, animals or humans nearby.

dangerNOTE

  • Please make sure that the appropriate environment should be suitable before flying. When flying, don't allow the quad copter beyond your sight.
  • The children should be under the guidance of adults when flying.

Attention for Controlling

  • Scope of control: The flying scope of the quad copter is about 25m and if beyond the scope, it would be out of control.

If flying in strong wind, the quad copter may go beyond the control scope and the quad copter
Flight time: The quad copter can fly within the scope under the condition of full charge and micro wind

Please refer to the manual to ensure the correct flight operation.

Please don't release the throttle immediately when flying high, otherwise, it would fall down abruptly and causing damages to parts.
Attention for Controlling Step 1

The quad copter shall fly to keep about 1m away from the ground.
Attention for Controlling Step 2

Don't fly with too much obstacles to avoid unnecessary losses of it.

Battery Installation and Charging Ways

Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery
    Battery Installation Step 1
  2. Install 2PCS 1.5V protective cover
    Battery Installation Step 2
  3. Lock the protective "AAA" alkaline battery of transmitter. cover of the battery. (without battery).
    Battery Installation Step 3
NOTE: The battery shall be correctly installed as the positive and negative plates pointed.

Battery Charging

Connect the quad copter with the USB charging line, and then insert the USB charging line into the USB port of the computer or any other USB chargers. When the USB indicator is ON, that represents it is under charging. When the indicator is OFF, that represents it is fully charged. Besides Apple charger, this USB charging wire can be connected with any other chargers of Smart mobile or movable power or being charged on the USB interface on the car. The voltage of the USB interface is +5+0.5V.

Begin to Take Off

The correct starting sequences of opening program are as the followings:

  1. Switch on the transmitter and pull the throttle stick to the lowest point.
  2. Switch on the power of quad copter and put the quad copter on the level ground and keep static. The indicator of the quad copter will be flashing.
  3. Switch on the power of the transmitter and the transmitter will send out sounds of "DI DI", and then push the throttle stick to the highest (as Figure 2 shown). It will send out sound of "DI" and then pull the throttle stick to the bottom (as Figure 3 shown) which means that the decoding is successful. At the same time, the indicator of the quad copter will stop flashing.

Operation and Control

Attention: Please avoid losing control. You should bear in mind that you need to operate the control stick slowly when operating the quad copter. During the process of controlling, the quad copter may lose some power. Therefore, during the courses of flying practice, you need to add some extra power to keep this quad copter flying in a certain height.

Sensitivity Setting

This kind of mini quad copter can realize three models operation: junior – intermediate – senior

Gently press the throttle stick to enter the setting mode:
The beeper on the transmitter sounds "DI" – The quad copter enters the junior mode. (with sensitivity of 30%)

The beeper on the transmitter sounds "DI DI" – The quad copter enters the intermediate mode. (with the sensitivity of 50%)

The beeper on the transmitter sounds "DI DI DI" – The quad copter enters the senior mode. (with the sensitivity of 70%)

The bigger the sensitivity, the faster the mini quad copter; the smaller the sensitivity, the slower the mini quad copter.

Aerial Tumbling Skills

3 modes can all be used to perform stunt action in the air, press the control stick and it will send out sound of "DI" and then enter the Stunt Mode.
Aerial Tumbling Skills

dangerThis model of quad copter can fly with 360 degree stunt action in the air through operating the control stick on the transmitter. In order to better carry out this stunt function and make sure the quad copter is one meter height above the ground, you'd better operate stunt action during the process of ascending, thus the quad copter will be easier to keep the height after making stunt action.

Accelerator Calibration

When the quad copter flies unstable or drifts quickly to one direction, you need to calibrate the accelerometer.

  1. After finishing the decoding between the quad copter and the transmitter, the quad copter shall be placed on the level ground.
  2. Set the sensitivity degree in the senior mode, and push the throttle to the lowest place.
  3. Push the throttle/ direction control stick to the bottom-left corner and the ascend/ descend/aileron control stick to the up-left corner. At this time, the indicator of the quad copter will be flashing for 1-2 seconds. Then the decoding is successful. (Left-hand Throttle)
  4. Push the ascend/descend control stick to the up-left corner and the throttle / aileron control stick to the bottom-left corner. At this time, the indicator of the quad copter will be flashing for 1-2 seconds. Then the decoding is successful. (Right-hand Throttle)

    RIGHT THROTTLE
    Accelerator Calibration Right throttle

NOTE: If it is still driven to one direction, you can put it on the horizontal ground and place several papers on that direction (the quantity of the papers needed is depending on the driven level so that it can adjust the accelerometer horizontal angle of deviation).

Stuck Protection and Activation

When the propellers are stuck because of impacting or other reasons during the flight, the battery protective board of the quad copter will automatically stop working. You can cut off the power and reopen it under the circumstances of quite full power. When the quad copter is without power after reopening, it means that the power is not enough to activate the battery. You can use the equipped USB charging line to connect the power and then make the activation.

Common Breakdown Maintenance of the R/C Aircraft
Troubleshooting Maintenance Method

Main rotor don't work or drifting take-off

Return-on and decoding, and if the problem still can't be solved, check whether the propellers of the quad copter are deformed or not. If they are deformed badly, they should be replaced.

Can't take off

Recharge the quad copter if there is short battery. If the problem still can't be solved, you can make the calibration according to the "Accelerometer Calibration" of the manual.
