NOTE

HBM recommends mounting modules individually in high vibration environments. Individually moun-

ted SomatXR modules are vibration- and shock-proof according to MIL-STD-202G. Stacked upper

modules in high vibration environments may exceed vibration and shock specifications. Make sure

mounted modules will not exceed vibration and shock specifications (see module data sheets).

The casemount kits enable SomatXR

modules to be mounted on any surface.

– Three kits are available for mounting

stacked SomatXR modules

– Use 1-CASEMOUNT2-2 to mount one or

two modules

– Use 1-CASEMOUNT3-2 to mount two or

three modules

– These brackets can be used in conjunction

with the 1-CASEMOUNT-UMB-2 kit

– All components in these kits are ROHS

compliant

Page 2 3. A set of four (4) caselinks can hold two (2) stacked modules together. Kit 1-CASEMOUNT2-2 has 1-CASELINK-RUG-2 for two (2) modules. Kit 1-CASEMOUNT3-2 has 1-CASELINK-RUG-2 for three (3) modules. 4. Connect a bracket (F or G) to the caselinks using M5 flat screws (A), serviceable (blue) threadlock and a #2 Phillips screw driver.
