- Page 2 Instructions 115.327 Nesting Box Information on species-appropriate nesting aid: The supplied rough wood must not be sanded smooth and needs to stay rough. This is important for the fledged young birds to be able to leave the nesting box. If the wood is smooth, they have nowhere to hold on to! For any possible waterproofing you should of course only use wood protection that is non-toxic and odourless.

Drill the holes for the perch ø10mm with a suitable drill. Drill the both sides with three nails each.
