Thank you for purchasing our Seams So Easy™ tool. This tool will transform the way you work your
seams.
The Seams So Easy™ includes the following components (note: only one support post and 1 base are
included with each Seams So Easy). The Egg and Platform share the same post and base.
Tools Needed: None! Assembly time required: 1 minute
Assembly Instructions: To use either the Darning Egg or the Platform:
1. Screw the dowel into the wooden base and make it snug (never over tighten the dowel).
2. The dowel has a tapered end on it and it fits into a tapered hole in both of the attachments.
Insert either the egg or the platform onto the tapered end of the dowel and twist it for a snug
fit. The harder you insert the egg or platform onto the dowel the harder it will be to remove
them. So resist the urge to over tighten either attachment
3. While sitting, position the disc between your legs to hold it in place, leaving hands free.
Darning Egg Use: The Egg is ideal for finishing socks. For Kitchener Stitch, pull the finished sock over
the egg; align the needle tips with the stitches parallel. Work Kitchener stitch, keeping the sock taut
over the egg and the stitches will be even. The Egg is also perfect for any darning job.
