STATEMENTS ARE SUGGESTED TO HELP
PREVENT ACCIDENTS
1. Using front end loader without special
attachments for handling large, heavy
objects, such as large round or rectangular
bales, fertilizer bags, and liquid containers
is NOT RECOMMENDED.
2. Handling large, heavy objects can be
extremely dangerous due to:
•
Danger of tractor falling over.
•
Danger of upending tractor.
•
Danger of object falling or sliding down
loader arms to operator.
3. If you must perform above operations,
protect yourself by:
•
Using proper attachment.
•
Never lift loader higher than necessary to
clear ground when moving.
•
Ballast rear of tractor to have 25% of gross
weight on rear tires.

BRUSH GRAPPLE KIT
FRONT END LOADERS
•
Never lift large objects with equipment that
does not have an anti rollback device.
•
Move slowly and carefully, avoiding rough
terrain.
4. By properly balancing tractor, equipping
tractor with falling object protective
structure (FOPS) and exercising caution
the loader with brush grapple can move
bush effectively and safely. Do not attempt
to use loader to handle bagged materials,
or liquid containers, since such use is NOT
RECOMMENDED.
5. Do not use brush grapple and loader
bucket cylinders to apply downward force
great enough to lift front tractor tires off
ground. This operation could damage
grapple and/or make tractor unstable.
HYDRAULIC PLUMBING BRUSH GRAPPLE
1. Remove brush grapple from skid.
2. Hose ends on brush grapple are male
#8 SAE o-ring (3/4-16 thread) . Attach
hydraulic female quick coupler (not
supplied with kit) to one hose of brush
grapple. Attach male quick coupler (not
supplied with kit) to opposite hose of brush
grapple. This assures same valve control
each time connected.
3. Attach male and female hydraulic quick
couplers (not supplied in kit) to hydraulic
source from tractor.
4. Electric third function kit diverts oil from
bucket tilt cylinders to power claws. This
option is preferred if you want to power
claws using the joystick.
