MAHR DIAL
THICKNESS GAUGE
IMPORTANT! Read these instructions completely
and carefully before using gauge.
CAUTION! All thickness gauges maintain
precise anvil parallelism throughout their entire
range. Disassembly of the anvils, removal of
the indicator and interchanging parts with
other gauges will destroy the parallelism.
Repairs and replacement of these parts should
be done only by qualified personnel. Contact
Uline Customer Service for assistance.
NOTE: Periodic verification of zero should be
performed to determine that the gauge setting
has been maintained.
NOTE: If zero needs to be reset, repeat Steps 1
and 2.

PREPARATION
1. Clean measuring surfaces.
2. With contacts together, zero the gauge.
3. Lift presser foot by pressing down on lift lever.
4. Place part under presser foot.
5. Release lift lever slowly.
6. Read indicator.

a. Dial indicator setting:
• Loosen bezel clamp.
• Rotate bezel to line zero on dial
with indicator hand.
• Tighten bezel clamp.
b. Digital indicator Setting:
• Press the zero button.
