Normal operation: The Green battery status LED will remain illuminated if the batteries have sufficient power to run the KANE-EGD/RGD. If the Green LED is flashing the batteries in the KANE-EGD/RGD must be replaced. In fresh air the unit will tic once every two seconds. - Page 4 If the initial tic rate does not settle to once every two seconds, switch off and back on to allow additional re-setting time. The KANE-EGD/RGD may be reset at any time by switching off and back on. Some leak detection fluids can cause a (temporary) false indication.
