  • Page 1 QUICK GUIDE TO INSTALLING ENDURO “CLASSIC” FORK SEALS IN MARZOCCHI FORKS Use a Fork Seal Removal Tool (we recommend Pedro’s DH Tire Lever) to get under the wiper only and pry it out.
  • Page 2 On top of the oil seal, you will normally find a “c-clip” that keeps the oil seal in place. Use a screwdriver to pry the open ends of the clip inward and then pull the clip out. Use the Fork Seal Re- moval Tool to pry out the old oil seal.
  • Page 3 Use a suspension assembly grease such as Slickoleum or Rock ‘n’ Roll Super Slick grease to grease the inside of the seal head. Also grease the outside of the new oil seal.
  • Page 4 Start the pilot of the seal press tool into the upper bushing of the fork until the oil seal is resting inside the seal head. Rest the bottom of the fork legs against a padded, firm surface (a couple of folded up shop towels on top of a workbench will do).
  • Page 5 Replace the oil seal retaining clip into its groove in the seal head. Be sure that the clip fully expands into the groove all the way around. Start the new wiper onto the flanged end of the seal and wiper press tool.
  • Page 6 Slide the wiper up the press tool until the leading edge of the wiper is under the flange. Grease the outer edge of the new wiper.
  • Page 7 Start the pilot of the seal press tool into the upper bushing of the fork until the wiper is resting against the seal head opening. Rest the bottom of the fork legs against a padded, firm surface (a couple of fold- ed up shop towels on top of a workbench will do).
  • Page 8 The oil seal and wiper are now properly installed. Grease the inside of the oil seal before continuing with the reassembly of your fork.
