    Page 2 1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION Calibrators 9840 and 9841 are single phase sources of alternating current and voltage. Providing voltages in four ranges, 57-110-220-380 -500V Current up to 20A (100A for the 9841) in ranges 1-5-20A and 100A(9841). Frequency in the range 45 to 70Hz.

    3. PRECAUTIONS Page 4 The calibrator should be used in an environment according to table 3.2 and where apparatus will be handled carefully. The calibrator should not be used near aggressive gases and strong magnetic and electric fields. Operation is allowable according to IEC359 for instruments group 1. It can be used in temperatures from +5 to +40 deg C and stored/transported at temperatures from -25 to +70 deg C.

    9 6. RE-CALIBRATION, GUARANTEE, AND SERVICING Re-Calibration: The 9840/41 should be returned to Time Electronics or their authorised dealer for repair or recalibration. Guarantee Period This unit is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from its delivery to the customer.
