Page 2 Thank you for purchasing the Kevo Vacuum former. Following is a quick start guide to get you forming new parts right away. Please note a video explaining these steps is available at CreationHardware.com/ video • Install the oven posts (3/8” bolts as shown here).
Page 3 • Place the object to be molded onto the perforated surface of the vacuum former: • Place a plastic sheet (included with the kit) into the mold grip and tighten the down the wing-nuts - snug will work they don’t have to be too tight.
Page 4 • Connect your vacuum to the Kevo as shown here (for larger vacuums use included vacuum adapters): • Insert the mold grip with plastic into your pre- heated oven:...
Page 5 When the plastic is soft take it from the oven and place it over the object on the Kevo with the vacuum running. • The plastic will quickly form around your object (as shown here) and after several seconds the plastic will cool and can be removed from the mold grip.
Page 6 Vacuum forming is bit of an art and may require a few tries to get the hang of it, but with a little practice you will be forming new parts in no time.
