Page 11 COMENZI Maneta robinet combustibil Robinetul de combustibil deschide si inchide trecerea intre rezervorul de combustibil si carburator. Pentru ca motorul sa functioneze maneta robinetului de combustibil trebuie sa e in pozitia ON (deschis). Cand nu utilizati motorul lasati maneta robinetului in pozitia OFF (inchis) pentru a impiedica inundarea carburatorului si a reduce posibilitatea de scurgere de combustibil.
Page 12 INSTALAREA FURTUNULUI DE ASPIRATIE Utilizati un furtun si un cuplaj obisnuit impreuna cu colierul livrat cu pompa. Furtunul de aspiratie tebuie sa e armat cu perete care nu se pliaza sau cu sarma. Nu utilizati furtune mai mici decat dimensiunea ori ciului de aspiratie. Furtunul de aspiratie nu trebuie sa e mai lung decat este necesar.
Page 13 UMPLETI POMPA CU APA CURATA POMPELE CENTRIFUGALE se pot amorsa numai cand au apa in interior. UTILIZATI APA CURATA pentru amorsare. Pompa poate pompa foarte bine lichide contaminate si foarte murdare, cu conditia sa e amorsata cu apa curata. AMORSAREA POMPEI Inainte de pornirea motopompei umplei pompa cu apa curata: desurubati dopul pentru amorsare si umpleti pompa cu apa curata.
Page 14 PROTEJATI POMPA IMPOTRIVA DETERIORARII Cind furtunul trebuie sa traverseze o sosea, asezati scinduri groase de o parte si de alta a acestuia, pentru a preveni oprirea uxului la trecerea vehicolelor peste furtun. Trecerea unui vehicul peste un furtun de refulare neprotejat nu deterioreaza numai furtunul, ci poate sparge si pompa.

CONTROLS Read and understand this manual. Know what the controls do and how to operate them. Familiarize yourself with the pump and its operation before you begin pumping. Know what to do in case of emergencies. Fuel Valve Lever The fuel valve opens and closes the passage between the fuel tank and the carburetor. The fuel valve lever must be in the ON position for the engine to run.

OPERATION SAFE OPERATING PRECAUTIONS To safely realize the full potential of this pump, you need a complete understanding of its operation and a certain amount of practice with its controls. DISCHARGE HOSE INSTALLATION Use a commercially available hose and hose connector, and clamp provided with the pump. It is best to use a short, large-diameter hose, because that will reduce uid friction and improve pump output. A long or small-diameter hose will increase uid friction and reduce pump output.

STOPPING THE ENGINE To stop the engine in an emergency, simply turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. Under normal conditions, use the following procedure. 1. Move the throttle lever to the SLOW position 2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position 3.
