    Mirroring(RAID1) protects data only from hard disk failure. It cannot protect data from logical error such as file system error or incorrectly written data by application software.     All data on the disks will be deleted once bind is completed. Some versions of MS Windows operation system does not recognize a storage larger than 2TB(2048 Giga bytes). If you want to use a single large volume, you need to use Windows 2003 server SP1, Windows XP x64 edition, Windows Vista or later.
