Installationsanleitung (DE)
Der Einbau und die Installation des OMS 1021 UP-RB darf nur
durch eine Elektrofachkraft erfolgen!
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Gerät dient als zentrale Komponente für die Unterputzinstallation und
macht den Aufbau einer POF-Vernetzung möglich.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät zu keinem anderen Zweck. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur
in Innenräumen.

Installation

Zuschneiden und Anschließen
Ziehen Sie das Kabel in die Schalter- oder
Kanaleinbaudose ein und kürzen Sie die Leiter auf
ca. 190 mm. Achten Sie darauf, dass beide Adern
gleich lang sind. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich
Geräte- Verbindungsdosen!
1. Trennen Sie das Kabel vorsichtig in der Mitte
auf und achten Sie darauf, dass keine
Unebenheiten des Mantels das Einführen des
Kabels behindern könnten.
2. Führen Sie es in das POF Schneidewerkzeug ein
und schneiden Sie es durch Druck auf die
Klinge ab.
3. Öffnen Sie die POF-Klemme durch leichtes
Ziehen am schwarzen Anschluss.
4. Entfernen Sie die rote Schutzkappe.
5. Führen Sie das POF-Kabel ein und achten Sie
darauf, dass es bis zum Anschlag geschoben
wird, um eine sichere Verbindung zu
gewährleisten (ca. 2,5 mm).
6. Schließen Sie die POF-Klemme, indem Sie den
schwarzen Anschluss in die Geräteöffnung
schieben.
Anschluss Spannungsversorgung
Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie bei Montagearbeiten
zunächst die Netzspannung frei.
Arbeiten am 230 V Netz dürfen nur durch
Elektrofachpersonal ausgeführt werden!
Beachten Sie bei Arbeiten in und an elektrischen
Anlagen die fünf Standard Sicherheitsregeln nach
DIN VDE 0105.
7. Schließen Sie die Netzspannung mittels der
Steckklemmen an
(Leitungsdurchmesser max. 1,5 mm²).
Anmerkung: Zum Lösen Rastnase drücken und
Ader herausziehen.
8. Schalten Sie die Netzspannung an.

Intended use
The device is a central component for concealed installation and permits the
establishment of a POF-network.
Only use this device for these purposes. Operate the device indoor only.

only be performed by a qualified electrician!
Installation

Cutting and connecting the POF-cable

Pull the cable through the installation box and
shorten the fibres to approx. 190 mm.
Make sure that both fibres are equally long.
Only use junction-boxes!
1. Cautiously split the cable down the middle and
make sure that there is no unevenness on the
coating which could hinder the inserting of the
cable.
2. Insert the cable into the POF-Cutter and cut it
by pressing the blade.
3. Open the POF-terminal by slightly pulling out
the black terminal.
4. Remove the red protection cap.
5. Insert the POF-cable. Make sure that it is
pushed all the way up to the stop to
guarantee a safe connection (app. 2.5 mm).

6. Close the POF-terminal by pushing the
cable
terminal into the opening.

Connecting the power supply

Danger for life!
Disconnect the main voltage first before
doing any mounting work.
Work on the 230 V supply may only be carried out
by authorized electricians!
The standard five safety rules according to DIN
VDE 0105 apply.
7. Connect power wire via connector
(Diameter power wire: max. 1.5 mm²).
Note: For releasing press the connector
block and unplug the wire.
8. Switch on the power supply.
