USING THE STARTER 1. This starter should only be used with a CGA 600 handle propane cylinder tank or US 1" threaded valve. 2. Before installing the starter on the gas cylinder, make sure the gas flow is OFF by turning the regulating control knob in a clockwise direction until it is securely hand-tightened. - Page 8 • Gas containers should be fitted or removed in well- ventilated areas, preferably outdoors or in an open-air environment, away from flammable substances/materials and incandescent sources of heat such as flames, lit cigarettes, hot plates, etc., and away from other persons or animals.

• Always point the appliance downwards at a maximum of a 45° angle to avoid flame flaring. If flaring occurs, move the propane container to an upright position for a few seconds. Do not work on wet ground. • If the ground is excessively dry, it may crack when using this starter. -
