  • Page 5 Safety Instructions To the installer Before installing this unit, please read this manual to familiarize yourself on the specific items which must be adhered to, including maximum external static pressure to unit, air temperature rise. The appliance and its appliance main gas valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of that system at test pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).

    Installation Instructions WARNING To prevent possible equipment damage, property damage, personal injury or death, the following bullet points must be observed when installing the unit. First, use the enclosed set of expansion rings, chains, and spring hooks to hang the Ares Garden Heater from structural members of the ceiling or greenhouse unistrut system rated for the load, or on a solid support;...
  • Page 10 WARNING 1. This heater has a built-in safety device (Tip Over switch); if the machine tilts, tips over, or falls, the heater will automatically shut down. The heater must be horizontal to operate. 2. Verify that you are connecting the proper gas source for your type of heater (LP or NG). 3.
  • Page 11 Operating Procedures for Ares Garden Heater After installation, perform the following steps: 1. Make sure the power switch is off and that the unit is unplugged. 2. Make sure there are no foreign objects or packaging material inside the heater. 3.
