Observe the following steps when commissioning the automatic
Hei-VOLUME Distimatic Pro module.

Switch the device on/off

To switch on and off the automatic module, use the main switch on the front of the
Distimatic Pro (see section "Distimatic Pro with control panel" on page 93).
CAUTION: Damage to property, loss of production
If the Distimatic Pro is switched on and off incorrectly, there is a
risk that peripheral devices will not be detected correctly or will
switch in an uncontrolled manner!

Observe the following sequence when turning the automatic module
and attached peripherals on and off:

Observe the order given when switching the Distimatic Pro and
the connected peripheral devices on and off.
In particular, before turning off the Distimatic Pro, make sure
that all processes have been completed properly.
TURNING ON THE SYSTEM: First, turn on all peripheral
devices so that they are recognized when initializing the
automatic module software.
TURNING OFF THE SYSTEM: First, turn off all periph-
erals to put the entire system in a safe operating condition.
