Before you call for service.
Problem
Vent fan comes on
automatically
SENSOR ERROR ap-
pears on the display

Possible Cause
The vent fan automatically
turns on to protect the
microwave if it senses too
much heat rising from the
cooktop below.
When using a Sensor feature,
the door was opened before
steam could be detected.
Steam was not detected in a
maxiumum amount of time.
What To Do
• This is normal.
• Do not open door until steam is sensed
and time is shown counting down on
the display.
• Use Time Cook to heat for more time.
