    Introduction The following manual is a set of rules and instructions intended to inform the owner/operator about the function and safe operation of the Mow-Chip Rotary Brush Mower. Failure to observe these rules may result in serious injury to the operator and/or other persons. Your new Mow-Chip Rotary Brush Mower is a precision built machine, carefully constructed to give excellent perfor- mance and long-term service.

    Safety Instructions Prior to Any Use of Mower: 1. Only mature experienced adults are permitted to operate the Mow-Chip Rotary Brush Mower. Persons age 16 or under, or any other inexperienced persons are prohibited. 2. Do not operate machinery while intoxicated or when judgement may be impaired by medication. Safety goggles and hearing protection are required.

Keep Away -Rotating Blades To prevent serious injury or death from thrown objects or blade contact: • Do not operate with deflectors removed.     Operating Instructions The following rules of operation will ensure your new rotary mower delivers top quality results while protecting both operator and machine from injury and/or damage. 1. Safety goggles and some type of hearing protection are required during mowing operation. 2.

    Maintenance The following maintenance instructions should be observed and completed to ensure long and continued good perfor- mance of the Mow-Chip Rotary Brush Mower. 1. The following bolts should be torqued with a torque wrench. Motor bolts, gear box bolts and safety device bolts. Check these bolts after 4 hours of operation and at appropriate times thereafter.

Oil Leaks - Improperly installed or missing motor drain plug. - Damaged gearbox seal. - Bent or damaged shaft on gearbox. - Loose or improperly connected hydraulic connections. 2.
