Six-socket overvoltage protection
strip with cable management

Intended Use
This outlet strip with overvoltage protection is intended for connecting up to 6 consumer loads.
An integrated child protector guarantees the maximum protection. A control lamp indicates whether
the overvoltage protection is assured or not.
The outlet strip also features an ON/OFF switch. The switch lights up red, when all the outlets
are supplied with the voltage.
The outlet socket is only intended for dry indoor locations.
Only connect the outlet strip to a standard mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz, with protective earth
conductor) connected to the public mains.
Any use other than described above may cause damage to the product ,with associated risks
such as fire. The product must not be modified or converted. Always observe the safety instruc-
tions included in these operating instructions. Read the operating instructions carefully and keep
them for later reference.

Explanation of the Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, ope-
ration and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions. Liability for any and all consequential damage is
excluded!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The
warranty will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of this product is not
permitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Only connect the outlet strip to a standard mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz, with pro-
tective earth conductor) connected to the public mains.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around. Children might try to push objects
through the socket openings, for example. There is a risk of a lethal electric
shock!
• The outlet strip is only intended for dry indoor locations.
• Do not cascade the outlet strip. Never connect multiple outlet strips in series.
• Never touch the outlet's strip earthed plug or the mains plug, with wet or damp
hands when trying to connect to the radio controlled socket strip. There is a risk
of a lethal electric shock!
• Never pull out a mains plug, that is connected to the outlet strip, by pulling on the
cable. Always remove the plug from the outlet strip by gripping the area provided
for this purpose on its sides. The same applies to the outlet strip's earthed plug.
• Do not overload the outlet strip (max. 16 ampere).
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or acciden-
tal drops, even from a low height.
• If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more! When it is
connected to the mains, do not touch the outlet strip or a connected device! First,
switch off at the mains socket to which the outlet strip is connected (i.e. switch off
at the circuit breaker). You can then remove the outlet strip's earthed plug from
the mains socket. Take the product to a specialist workshop or dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly way.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices. There is a danger of fire or of a
fatal electric shock.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact
our technical service or another specialist.

• Connect the plug of the outlet strip to the mains socket.

• Connect up to six consumer devices to the earthed sockets on the outlet strip.
• Now switch the outlet strip on. Place the ON /OFF switch in the „I" position.
• The ON/OFF switch lights up red. This is a visual indication that all the earthed sockets on the
outlet strip are supplied with the voltage.
• The LED „PROTECTED" shines red and thus confirms that the overvoltage projection is assu-
red.
Maintenance and Cleaning
This product is maintenance-free.
To clean the outside of the outlet strip, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure the outlet strip never comes into contact with
liquids.

Make sure that the outlet strip is de-energised before you connect any devices. The
ON/OFF switch has to be in the „O" position.
Make sure the outlet strip is de-energised during cleaning. For this purpose,
remove the outlet strip's earthed plug from the mains socket.
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
