1.3 Safety instructions The Dupla Twin-Control pro is designed exclusivly for use in enclosed rooms . All electronic components of the device must only be operated whilst they are free from defects . Should the mains supply be damaged, please return to your dealer for repair .
2.7 Memory function To safeguard against loss of data in the event of a power failure, the Dupla Twin-Control stores the set values for pH regulation, temperature control and time periods . The unit will continue to calculate the time for up to five hours after such an event, so the clock does not need to be reset after brief power failures .
Slot 1 can be programmed for pH control or temperature control . Slot 2 can be programmed for (second) temperature control or timer switch . This allows eight different combinations when using the Dupla Twin-Control for one or two different aquaria .
Dupla Twin-Control pro provides an optional six-week calibration memory function Please note: If no pH electrode is connected to the Dupla Twin-Control pro, so that the BNC socket is open, fictitious pH values will be displayed.

5.4 Temperature 2 programming Please note: Temperature 2 is an alternative programming process to time control for slot 2. When slot 1 is programmed for pH Control, temperature2 can be used for water heating (or water cooling). When slot 1 is programmed on temperature 1 for water heating (or water cooling), temperature2 can be used for substrate heating (or water cooling).
5.4.2 Setting as second temperature After acknowleding flashing SET by pressing flashes . If temperature 1 on slot 1 and temperature 2 on slot 2 both are programmed in the HEAT mode, the value is the fixed difference of temperature 1 (water heating) and temperature 2 (floor heating), and cannot be changed .
