Introduction

ANT+ is a special protocol used to transfer data via wireless connection through a sensor and a receiver; it is normally used for the communication
between cardiometric belts and their relative receivers. This protocol allows the transfer of data between devices which were previously paired and is not
subject to disturbance or external interference from other sensors of the same type.

Installation

Place the receiver at a maximum distance of 2m from the cardiometric belt and avoid placing it behind metallic walls (tanks, frame, etc.) which would
prevent transmission of the signal. Secure the receiver with the plastic Velcro included in the package.

Connections

The ANT+ receiver can be directly connected to one of the analogic inputs of the data logger through the 4 pole M8 military connector using the 50 cm
extension cable; should it not be long enough, use the specifically designed accessory extension cables (SSM050F: 50cm, SSM100F: 100cm, SSM150F:
150cm).

Operations

Pairing

Before using the ANT+ receiver, it is necessary to pair it with a cardiometric belt. In order to carry out pairing, dampen your chest and place the belt,
level with the electrodes; press the SET/MAX button on the receiver until you see the word SET on the display; then release the button and wait for the
pairing result.
YES: the pairing was successful; to use the sensor, you just have to switch on the device and wear the cardiometric belt.
NO: the pairing wasn't successful; repeat the pairing procedure making sure you wear the belt after having wet your chest and put the ANT+ receiver
closer to the belt.

Operation

During normal operation, the display will show the pulsations received from the belt.

Display maximum pulsations

To display the maximum pulsations press the SET/MAX button for a second; the maximum pulsations of the whole session will flash on the display.
Attention! The maximum value will be automatically cancelled when switching off the device.

up screen by pressing the button
(i.e. A1). PZRacing sensors have default settings to facilitate calibration; therefore you will be able to choose HEART RATE from the SENSOR drop
down list, or manually insert the settings:
