Techmeri is constantly updating its product range, for Salon professionals
and household use around the world.
The special floating heating plates glide smoothly through your hair. The
heat is then evenly distributed through the plates, which is especially kind
to your hair. The result is straight hair with a beautiful silky shine.
Your Techmeri straightener heats up in only 30 seconds. The
temperature can be adjusted to your preferred heat between 265ºF to
450ºF.
Techmeri straightener are easy and comfortable to use due to their
specially molded shape, and the 1.8 meters swivel cord allows flexible use
and prevents the cords becoming entangled.
If used correctly the hair remains healthy with a beautiful shine. This
appliance can be used on both natural and coloured hair.

2.Safety
Before using the straighteners, please read the following instructions
very carefully. This appliance heats to an extremely high
temperature and the following will safeguard you from any danger
from the straighteners being used incorrectly.
This product should only be used in strict accordance of the
instructions. Techmeri will not under any circumstances, take any
responsibility for any direct/indirect/occasional damage caused by the
misuse of this appliance. These damages may include (but are not
limited to) earnings lost, profit loss, usage loss, third party complaint
cost and cost of equipment and service replacement.
2.1 Explanation of terms
You will find the following terms in the operating Instructions.
Danger: High Risk. Failure to comply with this warning may result in
serious injury. Neglect could cause serious injury to either the user
or the appliance.
Attention: Medium Risk. Failure to comply with this warning may
result in damage to property.
Note: Low Risk. Information that should be taken into account when
using this appliance.
2.2 General Safety
DANGER
• Only use the Techmeri to style real hair. Do not use on artificial or
animal hair. Do not use the heating elements to dry any other objects.
• This appliance must be not used in Bathrooms. This
appliance must never be used in the bath, shower, over a
filled washbasin or with wet hands. Do not immerse this
appliance in water or rinse under running water.
• Do not use this appliance on dripping wet hair.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins
or other vessels containing water.
• DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this product as unsorted
municipal waste.
Collection of such waste separately for special treatment
is necessary.
• Check that the mains voltage is compatible with the straighteners.
You will find this detail on the inside of the appliance.
• Never switch this appliance on when:
- The appliance or the power lead is damaged.
- The device has been dropped, shows visible damage or is not
working properly.
- The appliance is damaged to such an extent that electrical parts
are exposed. If any of the above is visible, disconnect immediately
from the power source.
• You must unplug the appliance when:
- A defect occurs during operation.
- You want to clean the appliance.
- The appliance is in 'Switch Off' condition.
- The appliance is not being used.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.

• Electrical Appliances should be kept away from children. Children
should not be allowed to use or play with the appliance. Please make
sure that children do not burn themselves on the heating plates. Store
this appliance out of the reach of children.
• Please keep any packaging material away from children.
• People with certain medical conditions must not use this appliance,
where the product may cause them harm should an unexpected attack
occur. I.e., epilepsy.
• Arrange the power lead so that it is not considered a hazard.
• If the supply cord is damaged, if must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
• Protect the power lead from damage. Never pull on the power lead.
Hold the power plug when removing it from the socket.
• Clean your 'Techmeri' only with a mild damp cloth, once the
appliance has had time to cool.
• Caution: Risk of fire. Never use petrol, spirits or harsh cleaning
liquids.
• To prevent overheating and the risk of fire, never place towels or
similar items over or under the appliance.
• Do not use this device near to flammable liquids or gases. I.e.
aerosol cans, styling foams etc...
• In case of damage to the iron plates, any kind of styling oil or spray is
prohibited.
• Do not let any paper or other tinder touch the heated plates in case of
fire.
• Repairs can only be carried out by authorized 'Techmeri' Customer
Service Centers.
• Do not use an extension lead with this appliance.
• As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live
even when switched off.
• The appliance is intended for household indoor use only.
Attention
• Risk of burns! Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
• The cable should not come into contact with the heating plates.
• Do not wind the cable around the appliance this could cause damage
to the cable wiring.
• While connected do not put the appliance down on any wooden,
paper or material surface, but on a flat heat-resistant surface.
• Do not leave this device unattended whilst plugged in.
• Let the appliance cool down before putting them away.
• A residual current device with a normal operating current of less than
30mA provides additional protection. We recommend you ask an
electrical specialist to install a current operated e.l.c.b system for
circuit protection.
• This appliance is designed for indoor use only.
• This straightener is only intended for use as a hair styling iron and
only with products specifically designed for use with a heated
straightener.
• Avoid contact with the hot parts of the product.
• Persons suffering from Dyskinesia should refrain from using this
product alone.
• Please dry your hands before using this product.

• This unit is only designed for indoor use and should only be operated
by trained personnel.
