Quick Start Guide: Insert the supplied Lithium battery into the battery compartment-(9) on the back of the radio. Charge the battery through the Micro USB Port-(6) with the supplied Micro USB cable to any PC or USB power adaptor. Getting Started: Charging the radio: The DSE-555 Radio features a 3.7V, 1000mAh rechargeable Lithium battery. The DSE-555 Radio is supplied with one ‘USB to Micro-USB’ cable for battery charging. For first time operation, please fully charge the battery. Open battery cover and insert the Li rechargeable battery, then close the battery cover.

Search and select channels– Exam Mode (Automatic Search the Best Channel): 1. Make sure the radio is in Exam mode. 2. Press and hold “SCAN” Scroll Wheel button for 2 sec, the radio will scan the best channel automatically for 10-15secs with a moving magnifier icon among the 7 presets RTHK2 frequencies.
