    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The Metro PowerPod™ System is designed to provide AC voltage output power from either utility provided AC input voltage or from inverting DC power from a battery. It may be configured for either a Lithium Iron Phosphate (Li-Ion) battery or a sealed lead acid (SLA) battery (SLA availability varies by cart product line.) To ensure proper operation, the following guidelines...

Caution: To prevent possible damage to the power module when using a Li-Ion battery, make the battery DC power connections before making the battery communication connections (and reverse the procedure when disconnecting the battery).

Do not use or recharge the power supply battery in oxygen enriched areas, areas where flammable anesthetics are used or stored, or any other hazardous, classified location.

    METRO POWERPOD™ SYSTEM — INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The SLA battery is not considered a Hazardous Material (Dangerous Goods) and there is no restriction on shipping the SLA batteries. DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR COMPONENTS Depending on your order, your PowerPod™ System will be delivered in a specific configuration. The configuration may employ the following major components: •...

Image 1: Rear of PowerPod™ 3. Loosen the lock screw and remove any security seal (if present) from the front of the PowerPod™ drawer (See Image 2).

    SYSTÈME METRO POWERPOD™ – MODE D’EMPLOI Le système d’alimentation doit être expédié selon les instructions UN3481 sur les batteries au lithium-ion contenues dans un équipement sur des avions-cargos uniquement. Batterie au plomb La batterie au plomb-acide scellée n’est pas considérée comme une matière dangereuse (marchandises dangereuses) et il n’y a aucune restriction sur l’expédition de ces batteries.
