We invite you to check the condition of your e-bike before riding it. In particular: Tires / Wheels Pantera has 20 x 4 rubber tires with inner tubes mounted on 5 spokes rims. The internal tubes can get a puncture. Repairing a puncture must be performed the same way as with standard bicycles.

Pantera is equipped with mechanical disc brakes. This requires maintenance not only on the pads and rotors but also on the mechanical brake cable. Regularly check the condition of your cables. Pads wearing on a mechanical disc brake can be regulated by unscrewing the cable tension knob. There is a complementary adjustment of the inner pads, which can be tightened closer or removed from the disc by screwing it in or out with a 5mm Allen key.
Page 41
Brake check 1. Pull the brakes levers. At the end of their travel, they should not be in contact with the handlebar. 2. Lift and spin the wheels. They should spin freely. If this is not the case, you will need to adjust the brake caliper. This is a complex operation that needs a lot of care: loosen the clamping bolts, fully tighten the brake lever and tighten the clamping bolts.
Page 42
Chain tension The chain endures strong tension forces from pedaling. For optimal shifting and efficiency, the chain must connect with the teeth properly. To check for excessive slack, shift to the smallest gear on the cassette (if applicable) to create the greatest amount of slack in the chain.
Page 43
Adjustment of the rear derailleur Pantera is equipped with a Shimano RD M360 - 8 gear cassette model. It is recommended that you inspect the derailleur for wear and periodically lube the chain. Clean the cassette and chain with biodegradable cleaners only. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow the parts to get dry.

Dry your bike after each wash. Do not clean your Pantera with a strong water jet or steam jet from a short distance. The water can get past the seals and get inside the bearings or electronics. Moreover, lubricants can be diluted, increasing friction. In the long run, the bearing surfaces can deteriorate.
