A) Aufstellen der Leuchte / Erstinbetriebnahme
1. Nach dem Auspacken die Leuchte mit dem integrierten Aufschraubflansch mit 4 geeigneten Schrauben an der vorgesehenen Stelle
befestigen. Befestigungsflächen müssen glatt und eben und sollten nicht geneigt sein. Alternativ kann der Flansch auch mit der als
Zubehör erhältlichen Tischklemme oder dem Wandwinkel verschraubt werden.
2. Leuchtenarm in die gewünschte Stellung bringen - gegebenenfalls Gelenkeinstellung überprüfen (siehe Punkt B).
3. Netzstecker einstecken und Leuchte mit dem Schalter im Leuchtenkopf einschalten.
4. Das Lampengehäuse erfüllt die hohe Schutzart IP 65, die Leuchte darf bei entsprechenden Umgebungsbedingungen eingesetzt
werden. HINWEIS: Der Gummi-Schukostecker entspricht bauartbedingt nur der Schutzart IP 44!
B) Gelenkeinstellung
Die Leuchte ist mit Reibungsgelenken ausgestattet. Zum Verstellen der Leuchte müssen die Schrauben an den Gelenken nicht geöffnet
werden, dies könnte zu einem unkontrollierten Zusammensacken der Leuchte führen! Diese dienen lediglich dazu, eine einmalige
Grundeinstellung der Reibung vorzunehmen bzw. diese gelegentlich nach zu justieren. Es wird empfohlen, die Gelenke gerade so fest
anzuziehen, dass die Leuchte nicht absackt, um ein möglichst leichtgängiges Verstellen des Armes zu erreichen. Durch häufiges Verstellen
der Leuchte kann es erforderlich sein, die Gelenke gelegentlich geringfügig nachzustellen.
HINWEISE:

Beschädigtes Schutzglas und defekte Dichtungen sofort ersetzen!

Reinigung: Leuchte am besten mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen. Keine schleifenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Zur Vermeidung von Gefährdungen darf eine beschädigte äußere flexible Netzanschlussleitung dieser Leuchte ausschließlich vom
Hersteller, seinem Servicevertreter oder einer vergleichbaren Fachkraft ausgetauscht werden.

A) Installation of the luminaire / First putting into operation
1. After unpacking fix the luminaire by means of the integrated srewdown-base with 4 suitable screws to the intended place. The mounting
surface has to be smooth and even and should not be sloped. Alternatively the base can be screwed together with a table clamp or a
wall bracket which are available as extra option.
2. Put the lighting arm into the desired position – check the friction setting of the joints and re-adjust it if necessary (refer to B).
3. Put in the plug into the socket outlet and switch on the lamp by means of the switch on top of the lighting head.
4. As the lighting fixture meets the high protection class IP 65 it is allowed to use the fitting in corresponding surroundings (e.g. at
machines). REMARK: For technical reasons the plug doesn't meet IP 65. Depending on plug-system it is IP 44 or IP 20 only!
B) Adjustment of friction control
The luminaire is equipped with friction joints. For adjusting the luminaire the screws at the joints have not to be opened, e.g. this could
cause an uncontrolled collapse of the lighting arm! The only function of those is to find a basic friction setting initially resp. to re-adjust it
occasionally. It is recommended to adjust the friction just as much as the arm does not sag to achieve an easy-going adjustment. If the
luminaire is moved very often it might be necessary to re-adjust the articulation joints slightly from time to time.
REMARKS:

Defective glass cover or gaskets replace immediately!!

Cleaning: We recommend using a moist rag. Don't use scouring or grinding detergents.
To prevent any risks for health, a defective flexible power cord of this luminaire should be replaced only by the manufacturer, his
after-sales service partner or a similar trained specialist.
