- Page 4 MRCOOL Electric Heat Kit ® 5. Slide the electric heat kit into the opening behind the access panel removed in the previous step. (NOTE: The end of the heat kit has prongs which align with holes on the back wall of the air handler.
- Page 5 MRCOOL Electric Heat Kit ® 7. Next, install the breaker. (NOTE: During the installation, you will need to lift up the buckle first. Then, hold the breaker bracket and put down the buckle to properly secure the breaker). 8. Connect the electric heat kit connector to the air handler wiring harness.
