- Page 4 Dry Boil Protection Shut Off Function The kettle is fitted with a safety device, which protects against overheating should the kettle be operated with insufficient water. If this occurs, the kettle will stop boiling and automatically switch OFF . Should this occur, switch the kettle OFF at your power outlet and unplug. Allow the kettle to cool before refilling.
