    Scope ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC (ARBOC) warrants to the original purchaser that each new transit vehicle sold by an authorized ARBOC dealer (“Dealer”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service within these limits: 1.

Because most functions and features are unchanged, the GM service manual should be reviewed in conjunction with this guide for location, proper operation, and service of these features.

        OPERATIONS Suggested Pre-trip Inspection Prior to entering into service, ARBOC Specialty Vehicles suggests that the operator conduct a pre-trip inspection of the bus: 1. Engine Compartment a. Engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, power steering, brake fluid, and battery electrolyte levels (See the GM Operator’s Manual) b.

    E. ARBOC Specialty Vehicles Control Panel In the Spirit of Freedom, the suspension air gauge are removed and operating switches are added to the OEM spaces between the (2) 12-volt outlets. The ARBOC Specialty Vehicles Control Panel is an option.

    Air Suspension - Operational Sequence (Spirit of Mobility) The ARBOC SV Spirit of Mobility bus is equipped with an air suspension system powered by twin 12 volt dc compressors, an ECU control module and three magnetic height sensors (one on the road side front and one each on the curb side and road side rear).
  • Page 93       MAINTENANCE Air Suspension - Operational Sequence (Spirit of Mobility) - Continued As an option, an exterior light and buzzer may be used as a warning to the driver and passengers that the suspension is kneeling or the ramp is being deployed. When stopping for non-wheelchair passenger, drivers may choose to maintain the vehicle at its normal ride height condition or kneel the front of the vehicle to ease loading of ambulatory passengers.

  • Page 98       MAINTENANCE Air Suspension - PC Diagnostics (Spirit of Mobility) Troubleshooting/Diagnostics via PC application In order to begin diagnostics on this system you must first install the Air Lift Diagnostic Program on to your PC. http://www.airliftcompany.com/content/tools/ArbocSetup_3_1_0.zip Once this program is installed, you will see the Air Lift logo on your desktop. Diagnostic set-up 1.

  • Page 108       MAINTENANCE Direct Control The direct control screen is a combination of several aspects of this program. The top portion of this window is the same as the virtual display screen, while the bottom half is aspects of the manual control and maintenance screens. In addition to combining key functions of other screens, we have added the ability to manual activate input circuits (kneel circuits).
