DOOR CHIME
NOTE: Battery is not included.
NOTE: Unit can be mounted to ceiling, above
door jamb or side mounted.
NOTE: Unit should be positioned on ceiling 1'
in from door and pointing down toward door
threshold. If side mounting, position unit on wall
approximately 1' from door.
WARNING: Avoid placing motion detector near
heating or air conditioning ducts and direct
sunlight.
WARNING: Keep at least 3' away from
fluorescent light ballast. This may cause false
signals or no signal at all from detector.
1. Open unit at the slot on the side. (See Figure 1)
NOTE: Inserting a flathead screwdriver will help
pry open the box.

INSTALLATION
2. Remove the cover and attach battery snaps to the
9V battery (use alkaline battery for longer life). Place
battery into battery holder.
3. Replace cover by placing cover hook into slot,
inserting pin into hole and squeezing closed.
(See Figure 2)
