JR SPORT RS600
Universal Receiver
JR
has conveniently provided a means to
®
make the RS600 receiver truly a universal piece
of equipment by providing you, the end user,
with the means to change from the supplied
positive (+) shift normal JR operation to the
optional negative (-) shift operation by moving
a small jumper wire in a block on the PC board.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Remove crystal (if installed) and the end
plate located at the crystal end of the case:
Introduction

®

2. On the bottom of the case (with the FCC
sticker) you will find a small tab located
towards the servo wire in/out end of the
receiver. Lift that tab slightly while pulling
on the PC board gently.
3. Place the PC board on the work surface as
shown in the following picture, with the Servo
connectors to the right.
Operation
The normal operation mode of this receiver
is no different than any other receiver you may
have operated before. Simply plug the servos
into the appropriate servo ports as marked on
the receiver and begin enjoying the fine opera-
tion of this unit. Please note that the channels
are labeled according to the order of a JR
transmitter, and changing the shift (from positive
to negative) will have no effect on this channel
order. Some experimentation on the part of the
user to discover the correct channel per function
will be necessary.
4. Locate block "A" on the PC board, and the
wire that is inserted into block "A".
This jumper wire needs to be moved so
it is inserted into the center hole and the
opposite hole.
5. Please note from the drawing below the
proper jumper wire location for positive (+)
shift operation and negative (-) shift operation.
