Important
Before making or changing the connections, switch
off the power and disconnect the power cable from
the power outlet.
1 SPEAKERS terminals
FRONT L/R, CENTER, SURROUND L/R and SURROUND
BACK speaker terminals.
2 Antenna connections
AM LOOP
Connect the supplied AM loop antenna or an outdoor
antenna if reception is bad.
FM UNBAL 75Ω antenna terminal
Connect the supplied FM wire or an outdoor antenna
if reception is bad.
3 CONTROL IN jack / CONTROL OUT jack
Use to link Pioneer components together to enable all
components in the chain to use just one remote control
sensor.
Also used for special SR+ control of Pioneer plasma
displays.

4 SCART AV connectors
The four SCART-type AV connectors carry video and
analog audio.
VIDEO IN/OUT AV connector
AV connector for the VIDEO input. When the receiver
is set to any other input, that signal is output from the
VIDEO IN/OUT AV connector.
DVR/TV IN/OUT AV connector
AV connector for the DVR/TV input. When the
receiver is set to any other input, that signal is output
from the DVR/TV IN/OUT AV connector.
DVD IN AV connector
AV connector for the DVD input.
STB IN AV connector
AV connector for the STB input.
The table on the following page shows the input and
output video formats available for each AV connector.
