- Page 2 INSTRUMENT OPERATION - Connect probe(s) via shutdown. Replace the three AAA batteries located the sockets located at the top of ThermaQ. Switch on under the rear case half that is held in place by six and insert the tip of the probe(s) into the item being screws.
