How to connect my Jabra GN9120 EHS / GN9125 EHS with
Avaya IP 2410, IP 5410, IP 6416D, IP 6416M, 6424D, 6424M

Prerequisite:

Jabra GN9120 EHS + Jabra LINK 14201-20
Jabra GN9125 EHS + Jabra LINK 14201-20
In combination with one of the following Avaya phones:
IP 2410
IP 5410
IP 6416D+M/ 6424D+M

Connection:

1. Insert the RJ9 to RJ9 connection cable supplied with the GN912x into
the socket marked with the "phone" on your GN912x base and the
other end into the socket marked with the "phone" symbol on the EHS
adapter.
2. Now connect the end of the RJ45 to RJ45 connection cable (EHS
adapter) marked in "red" to the socket marked "AUX" on the EHS
adapter as well as with the "AUX" socket on your GN912x base.
3. Now connect the RJ9 to RJ9 connection cable marked white "A" to the
socket marked "headset/handset" on the EHS adapter as well as with
the "headset" socket on your phone.
4. Important: with the 6416D+M / 6424D+M phones, the cable marked
with white "B" must be used instead of the ("C" cable).
5. Connect the dial tone sensor to the EHS adapter and attach this to the
middle of the phone speaker.

  • Page 2 11/08/2022 06:23 EHS setup: The Jabra GN912x must be set up on DHSG EHS. (The Jabra GN9120 DHSG is always supplied in DHSG mode). You can check or set it as follows. 1. Place the headset in the base. 2. Then press the PLUS and MINUS buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds until the online display on the headset starts to flash.
  • Page 3 3. You can now increase the volume with PLUS or decrease the volume with MINUS. 4. To confirm, after approx. 10 seconds a low signal tone sounds in the headset in the background.
