    CHOOSING A LOCATION The location of the alarm is very important for its optimum performance. Please refer to the drawing of the favourite types of pools with the ideal location for the installation of the alarm, included below. Consider which type of pool depicted is most similar to yours and start the installation. ●...
  • Page 5 1. Test the alarm (A) in the chosen location according to pool drawings included above. The opening of the sensor tube should be submersed as in the picture and the surface for the installation plate should be even and smooth. The alarm installation plate (B) should easily fit into the bottom part of the main alarm unit, so that the sensor tube is pointed directly into the pool at a 90º...
  • Page 6 3. After marking the location, drill the holes using masonry drill bits. !!! CAUTION!!! Use the utmost caution when using electrical tools near the swimming pool. Make sure that there are no people in the pool at any point during the installation. After completing each phase of the installation remove all tools from the proximity of the pool.
  • Page 7 5. Turn the main alarm unit so that the opening of the sensor tube is pointing up. Remove ALL 11 screws fastening the water tight cover. Carefully open the cover, lifting it on the side opposite the sensor tube (see Figure 5). Make sure you do not lose any screws.
  • Page 8 7. The alarm is now ready to be attached to the installation plate. Simply insert the main alarm unit into the installation plate. Using a Phillips head screwdriver fasten the installation screws (E) into the installation plate to secure the main alarm unit (see Figure 7). Figure 7 8.

    USING ALARM This pool alarm is intended for uninterrupted surveillance of the pool. When you want to swim in the pool you have to insert the key into the alarm. To switch the alarm to the swimming mode, an adult person must place the magnetic key in the area on the main unit of the alarm marked KEY and press the red button at the same time.

    SAFETY GUIDELINES 1. It is vital that you react quickly when the alarm sounds, because drowning can occur within three minutes. 2. Never leave children unattended in the proximity of the pool. 3. After installation, the alarm must be tested once a week to make sure that it is in proper operating condition.

  • Page 16 WAHL DER ANORDNUNG Die Anordnung der Alarmanlage ist wichtig, damit sie ihre optimale Leistung erbringen kann. Weiter unten zeigt eine Zeichnung die beliebtesten Beckentypen mit den idealen Installationsstellen für die Alarmanlage. Überlegen Sie, welcher Typ am stärksten Ihrem Swimmingpool ähnelt und gehen Sie dann zur Installation über.
  • Page 17 1. Stellen Sie die Alarmanlage (A) probeweise an der nach den vorgenannten Beckentypen gewählten Stelle auf. Das Endstück des Sensorrohrs sollte sich wie auf der Abbildung im Wasser befinden und die Fläche zum Anbringen der Installationsplatte muss gerade und glatt sein. Die Installationsplatte der Alarmanlage (B) sollte leicht in die Unterseite des Hauptkörpers einrasten, so dass das Sensorrohr im Winkel von 90°...
  • Page 18 3. Führen Sie nach dem Anreißen der Bohrlöcher mit einem Steinbohrer zwei Bohrungen aus. ACHTUNG!! Seien Sie bei der Benutzung von Bohrmaschinen am Schwimmbecken sehr vor¬sichtig. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich in keiner Phase der Installation im Schwimmbecken Personen befinden. Entfernen Sie nach Beendigung der entsprechenden Phase unverzüg¬lich alle elektrischen Werkzeuge aus der Umgebung des Schwimmbeckens.
  • Page 19 5. Drehen Sie den Hauptkörper der Alarmanlage so, dass das Endstück des Sensorrohrs nach oben weist. Lösen Sie ALLE 11 Schrauben, die den wasserdichten Deckel halten. Klappen Sie den Deckel vorsichtig ab, indem Sie ihn an der dem Sensorrohr gegenüber liegenden Seite anheben (siehe Abb. 5). Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie keine Schrauben verlieren.
  • Page 20 7. Die Alarmanlage ist nun zum Befestigen an der Installationsplatte bereit. Schieben Sie einfach den Hauptkörper auf die Installationsplatte. Schrauben Sie die Befestigungsschrauben (E) mit einem Kreuzschraubenzieher an der Installationsplatte fest, um den Hauptkörper der Alarmanlage zu befestigen (siehe Abb. 7). Abb.
  • Page 21 9. Installieren Sie nun die Fernsirene in Ihrem Haus höchstens in einer Entfernung von 30 m vom Hauptkörper so, dass Sie sie überall hören, wenn der Alarm ausgelöst werden sollte. Drehen Sie die Fernsirene um und schrauben Sie die Kreuzschlitzschraube ab. Legen Sie eine 9V Alkalibatterie mit langer Lebensdauer ein und setzen Sie den Deckel wieder auf.

  • Page 23 BETRIEB DER ALARMANLAGE Diese Schwimmbecken-Alarmanlage ist zur ununterbrochenen Überwachung von Schwimm¬becken bestimmt. Wenn Sie im Swimmingpool baden wollen, müssen Sie den Magnetschlüssel anlegen. Zum Umschalten der Alarmanlage in die Betriebsart Schwimmen muss ein Erwachsener den Magnetschlüssel an die mit KEY (Schlüssel) gekennzeichnete Fläche des Hauptkörpers halten und zugleich die rote Taste betätigen.

  • Page 29 1. Pour faire un test, placez l’alarme (A) dans l’endroit sélectionné selon les types susmentionnés de piscines. L’emboîtement du tube du capteur devrait être dans l’eau selon l’illustration et la surface pour la pose de la plaque d’installation devrait être droite et lisse.   • Page 30 3. Après marquage des orifices, percez deux trous dans la maçonnerie à l’aide d’une perceuse. ! ! ! ATTENTION ! ! ! En utilisant des instruments électriques près d’une piscine, soyez extrêmement prudent. Veillez à ce qu’aucune personne ne se trouve dans la piscine pendant chacune des phases de l’installation. Après la fin de la phase en question, enlevez immédiatement tous les instruments électriques du bord de la piscine.
  • Page 31 5. Faites tourner le corps principal de l’alarme, de façon à ce que l’emboîtement du tube du capteur soit dirigé vers le haut. Dévissez TOUTES les 11 vis maintenant le capot étanche. Enlevez le couvercle du capot avec précaution en le soulevant du côté opposé au tube du capteur selon l’illustration 5. Attention de ne perdre aucune vis. Lorsque les piles seront installées, une alarme très bruyante retentit ! Préparez-y vous et ne lâchez pas l’installation ! Insérez deux piles alcalines 9V NEUVES avec une longue durée de vie (ne faisant pas partie de la livraison) dans les compartiments des piles selon l’illustration 6.
  • Page 32 7. L’alarme est désormais prête à être fixée sur la plaque d’installation. Insérez simplement le corps principal de l’alarme dans la plaque d’installation. A l’aide d’un tournevis cruciforme, vissez les vis d’installation (E) dans la plaque d’installation, pour bloquer le corps principal de l’alarme (voir illustration 7). Illustration 7 8.
  • Page 33 9. N Installez la sirène éloignée à une distance maximale de 30 m de l’unité de base dans votre maison, pour que vous puissiez l’entendre partout si l’alarme se déclenchait. Tournez l’alarme éloignée et dévissez la vis avec une tête cruciforme. Installez une pile alcaline de 9V avec une longue durée de vie. Remettez le couvercle en place.

    UTILISATION DE L’ALARME Cette alarme de piscine est destinée à une surveillance permanente de la piscine. Lorsque vous voudrez nager dans la piscine, vous devez insérez la clé. Pour mettre l’alarme en mode baignade, l’adulte doit placer dans la zone sur la surface du corps principal de l’alarme désignée par KEY (clé) la clé magnétique, tout en pressant la touche rouge.
