    Machine function MBCP33-4 Intended use This petrol brush cutter MBCP33-4 is designated with a maximum power output of 1.0 kW. > With the tri-arc blade and cutting-attachment guard attached, the machine is intended to cut heavier weeds, brush and similar vegetation with a thickness of up to 20 mm.
  • Page 27 Machine function MBCP33-4 Harness NOTE: The harness improves working movement and enables the operator to manage the job in a safer way and takes the strain away from the body. Always wear the harness when working with the machine. Always turn the machine off and wait until the cutting attachment stops completely before taking off the harness.

    Machine function / Operation MBCP33-4 Throttle trigger lockout The throttle trigger lockout (14) prevents unintentional start of the throttle trigger (16). The throttle trigger can only be activated if the throttle trigger lockout is pressed (Fig. 15). Press and release the throttle trigger lockout (14) and the throttle trigger (16) will set the engine running at idle speed.

  • Page 30 Operation MBCP33-4 Starting cold engine 1. Place the machine on a flat and stable surface. The cutting attachment should not touch ground or any objects. Set stop switch (15) to I (Fig. 16). 2. Set the choke (8) to CLOSE position (Fig.
  • Page 31 Operation MBCP33-4 3. Hold the machine securely to the ground with your left hand. Pull the recoil starter handle (4) slowly with your right hand until you feel a definite resistance and then give it a brisk, strong pull. Repeat until the engine starts (Fig. 19).
  • Page 32 Operation MBCP33-4 Trimmer line feeding The string trimmer head (23) is equipped with a bumper help to feed the cutting line (32). Simply tap the bumper on a firm ground while the machine is operating, the spool will release fresh trimming line. A cutting line cutter (31) is integrated with the trimming guard (30) and it cuts the line to necessary length (Fig.
