Driving and operating
● the sensor in the windscreen or
the radar unit behind the front
bumper is blocked by snow, ice,
slush, mud, dirt or by foreign
objects, e.g. stickers
● the windscreen is damaged
● the bumper is damaged or
affected by foreign objects, e.g.
license plate support

Parking assist

General information
The system is deactivated when a
plug is connected to the power outlet
of the trailer hitch.
9 Warning
The driver bears full responsibility
for the parking manoeuvre.
Always check the surrounding
area when driving backwards or
forwards while using parking
assist system.
Rear parking assist
The system warns the driver with
acoustic signals and display
indication against potentially
hazardous obstacles behind the
vehicle while reverse gear is
engaged.
The system operates with ultrasonic
parking sensors in the rear bumper.
Activation
The system is ready to operate when
the LED in the parking assist button
e is not illuminated. The state of the
system is memorised when the
ignition is switched off.
Once activated, rear parking assist is
ready to operate when reverse gear
is engaged.
Indication
As soon as an obstacle gets closer to
the vehicle, you will hear acoustic
warning signals. The interval between
the sounds becomes shorter as the
vehicle gets closer to that obstacle.
