The diameter of the kettle base (about 120mm) and the diameter of the hotplate must be about the same; otherwise there is a danger that the hotplate (magnetic field) does not respond to the base of the kettle.
- Page 5 Before first use: • Clean the inside of the kettle with some washing up liquid and a wet sponge before use. Then rinse thoroughly with water! • Next fill with water to the ‘max’ level and bring to the boil. Pour out the water and then you can begin to use your kettle.
