Introduction The On-the-Go Receiver is designed for easy installation on various types of units. The receiver is designed for use with both the 12.5 ft and 14.5 ft versions of the On-the-Go Ladder. No pre-drilling is required for installation. Safety Read and understand all instructions before installing or operating this product.

Determine the location of the receiver on the unit. The receiver should be mounted toward the rear of the unit. Lippert recommends a receiver mount height of around 10 feet for the 12.5 foot ladder and 12 feet for the 14.5 foot ladder. This will allow the top ladder rungs to exceed the height of the unit, allowing the user safe access to the roof of the unit.

Additional Instructions Ladder Operation Verification These instructions are needed if a complete On-the-Go Ladder system is provided by the OEM. Use the following instructions to verify ladder operation. Remove and stow the ladder prior to travel. Failure to properly remove and stow the ladder could result in personal injury or property damage.

Extending and Retracting the Ladder Make sure all lock buttons are in the "Lock" position prior to ascent or descent. Unlocked buttons may cause instability and could lead to a fall. Moving parts can pinch, cut, and crush. Keep hands off of moving parts at all times and exercise caution when extending or retracting the ladder.

Installing Ladder on Receiver Extend the ladder to full height. Insert the attached mounting hanger of the ladder into the slots of the receiver (Fig. 8). Fig. 8 Pull down on the ladder to make sure the mounting hanger is fully inserted into the receiver. Put the feet of the ladder on the ground.

• Equipment carried up and down the ladder should be manageable and easy to handle. Storage The ladder comes equipped with a Velcro strap for storage. Secure the Velcro strap to the On-the-Go Ladder (Fig. 10) prior to storage and unit transportation.
