Check the following steps if the Rotai RT8900 massage chair's back mechanism is not performing body scanning and starting the massage:

1. Ensure Proper Power Connection – Verify that the chair is plugged into a working power outlet.
2. Restart the Chair – Turn off the chair, unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and restart.
3. Check for Obstructions – Ensure there are no objects blocking the rollers or sensors.
4. Verify Seating Position – Sit correctly in the chair so the body scanning sensors can detect your position.
5. Use the Correct Settings – Make sure the scanning function is enabled in the touch screen controller.
6. Inspect for Error Messages – If an error code appears, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual.
7. Contact Support – If the issue persists, consult the manual for further troubleshooting or contact customer service for assistance.
