Activating the Unit/LED Light Sequence:

 Before inserting the strap into the unit, press the Activation button on the face of the unit
 The PWR LED light will turn on
 A red PWR LED light indicates a low battery, the unit should be charged before placing it
on an offender
 A green PWR LED light indicates a good battery charge
 Make a clean cut on one side of the strap
 Insert one side of the strap into the unit using the pin tray and locking clip
 Measure the strap around the offenders ankle and cut the strap length as needed
 Place the pin tray on the end of the strap and insert the locking clip into the unit, then place the
unit on the offender
 Press and hold the Activation button for two seconds
 The unit will vibrate
 The PWR LED light will begin flashing
 During the activation process, if the PWR LED light is blinking red this does not indicate a
low battery. This means that the unit is waiting to receive the IP address from the server
 The GPS and ZONE LED lights will begin flashing green. These two LED lights will flash together
during the activation process. Initially, they will blink once every second
 A Download can be sent to the unit at this time
