- Page 4 As mud is being used the fluid level inside the mixing tank must be maintained: add water and bentonite on time and, if a mud recycling system is used, keep a eye on the mud level of the mud pit, with a SiteTec recycling system, mud will be transferred from the recycling unit to the mixing unit.
