in the future. Please read all the instructions. Please note the safety warnings, which though common
sense, we include as a reminder to assist and give you trouble free enjoyment!

Siting

Please consider carefully where you will position your Firestorm. Always site it on firm, level ground.
Small amounts of burnt pellet and ash may occasionally fall from the heater, so always site where there is
no danger of igniting dry grass for instance. If in any doubt, position on a patio slab or similar.

General safety

The heater gets very HOT! Please ensure it is always somewhere that is safe. Remember, even after it has
gone out it will remain hot for at least half an hour. Be mindful of the safety of anyone who is going to be
in close proximity and pay close attention to small children and pets.
The heater uses a tube made from heat resistant borosilicate glass. Care must be taken to ensure it isn't
knocked, particular care is necessary when taking apart, cleaning and assembling as below. Normal
handling will not cause problems, but impact with any hard surface may cause breakage.

Lighting

The Firestorm is lit very easily in a few simple steps.
1. Fill the feed tube with Firestorm Pellets right up to the lid. Ensure you close the lid afterwards.
2. If the glass tube is sat in place, remove the glass tube or have someone lift it up by a foot or so to
allow easy access to the square burn chamber.
3. Add one capful of white spirit to
the top of the visible pellets in
the square burn chamber.

Twisting the glass tube slightly will help slide into the heat resistant fabric. The glass tube sits ontop of part of the stove, so you will feel when it has gone in and seated. There is no rush to do this, the glass will not suddenly get hot at this point, so take your time to carefully assemble.

If wanted, though not necessary, you can clean the tube by running some water through from a hose and using the Cleaning Sponge available in our Firestorm Accessory Kit.
