Important Advice

1. Please read the instructions carefully before using the scale.
2. Ensure that there is nothing on the weighing plate when the scale is not being used.
3. Don't allow water (or any other liquid) to come into the scale.
4. When using the scale always place it on a solid, smooth and horizontal surface.
5. For best accuracy, place the scale at a safe distance of at least 1.5 meters from the
operating microwave oven or it must be switch off.

Controls

1. Button: ON/ TARE/OFF
"ON" --- Press this button to switch on when the scale is turned off.
"OFF" --- Press this button for three seconds to switch off.
"TARE" --- Press this button to set back the display to "0".
2. Button: g/oz,
--- Please find this button at the backside of the scale.
--- Press this button to change the units displayed from grams (g) to ounces (oz) or
ounces (oz) to grams (g).

Battery

The scale works on 2pcs AAA batteries.
1. Insert the battery into the battery compartment, making sure
are correct, and, if such protection is provided,
protection from under the battery to initialize the battery.
2. Replace battery as soon as "Lo" is displayed and ensure that it is disposed of at an
officially assigned place, for it may pollute the environment.

Operation

1. Press button "ON/ TARE/OFF" to switch on and "0g" or "0.00 oz" is displayed.

the weight Press the button "ON/ TARE/OFF"  Set back to "0"  Place the
adding ingredient(s)  Display the weight of the adding ingredient(s)  Press the
button "ON/ TARE/OFF"  set back to "0" again ...

Cleaning and Storage

1. Clean the scale with a soft slightly damp cloth and if necessary, some detergent.
Never use hot water or other harsh chemicals to clean the scale.
2. Ensure that there is nothing on the weighing plate when the scale is not being used.
3. The scale should not be stored standing on its side.
4. Never attempt to open the scale and tamper with its mechanism or circuitry.
5. Remove the battery if the scale is not going to be used for a long time.
