2 Press TUNE/PRESET to select the tuning mode.
Note
Each time this button is pressed, the mode changes
as follows:
•
TUNING mode—PRESET turns off.
•
PRESET mode—PRESET lights up.
When PRESET is not lit up on the display the tuner
will scan through each individual channel. If it is lit up
it will scan through only channels saved into the
preset memory.
3 Rotate the UP/DOWN knob quickly (over
several steps once) or press hold the TUNE
/
buttons for more than 0.5 seconds.
The tuner searches until a station of sufficient
strength has been found. The display shows the
tuned frequency and TUNE.
If the station found is not the station you want
to listen to, repeat this procedure.
Weak stations are skipped during auto tuning.

Manual tuning
Manual tuning is useful when you already know the
frequency of the station you want to listen to.
To manually tune a radio station:
1 Repeatedly press BAND on the receiver or
TUNER on the remote control to select AM or
FM.
2 Press TUNE/PRESET to select the tuning mode.

3 Rotate the UP/DOWN knob one by one slowly
or press the TUNE

until the right frequency has been reached.
