  • Page 4 TO DEMAGNETIZE: 1. Hold the item to be demagnetized inside the center of the housing opening. Use caution to ensure the part is not touching the housing. 2. Press and hold the button and withdraw the item slowly in a straight line from the housing opening for approximately three inches, keeping the item in line with the center of the housing opening, then release the button.

    DUTY CYCLE: • This unit has superior field strength due to the relatively high amperage it draws. The consequence is a fairly rapid heating of the field coil. It is recommended that a single duty cycle be limited as follow: 5 seconds on and 3 minutes off, or three 5 second cycles on then 10 minutes off.
